Mission
Statement:
Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging is a resource and assessment
center designed to enhance access to services and information
related to attaining optimal quality of life for seniors and
their caregivers.

Vision
Statement:
The Center will provide resource materials such as brochures,
periodicals, books, tapes, compact discs and digital video
discs on topics related to aging including caring for
our elders. Internet access will be provided as part of
the resource library at the Center. The Center will sponsor
educational and training programs for caregivers, elders,
and family members on topics of interest to the audience
being served. |
The Center will
provide interdisciplinary needs assessments and referral services
based on identified needs and objectives of the client. The
Center will serve as a conduit to facilitate access to and
provision of medical care, social services, community resources,
financial planning and elder law advisors, holistic care and
wellness programs.
The Center will seek grant monies and donations to support
the growth of new initiatives identified as part of its mission.

In accomplishing its mission Connecticut Center for Healthy
