My name Is Peg Rancourt and I have been a resident of Southington for 34 years, and a registered nurse for 25 years.   I was employed at Bradley Memorial Hospital for 19 years (1981-2000), most of those working as a Discharge Planner/Case Manager, coordinating resources for the elderly and their families/caregivers.

During the past four years I was employed as a Clinical Admissions Liaison, working with Seniors and their caregivers, coordinating appropriate admissions to area Extended Care Facilities both for Short Term Rehabilitation and Long Term Care.   I also felt it extremely important that I follow up with these clients monitoring their satisfaction with the rehabilitation and nursing care they were receiving making sure that their recuperation was as non-stressful as possible.

It has been my belief that being well informed and prepared for the "Golden Years" allows this population to maintain a healthy and independent lifestyle, allowing them and their caregivers to make the best decisions possible now and in the future.

It is with great enthusiasm that I begin my new venture at the Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging and look forward to serving the Southington and area communities.

I-84 West; exit 32; right at ramp; travel south on route 10 approximately 3 miles to route 120 (Meriden Ave.); Bradley Memorial Hospital is on the left. Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging is located on Floor 1 of the hospital.

From Meriden/New Haven
Route 691 West to exit 4; right at ramp; right at first light onto route 120 (Meriden Ave.) follow to hospital. Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging is located on Floor 1 of the hospital.

From Waterbury
I-84 East; exit 30; left at ramp; right onto Marion Ave.; straight to route 10; follow "H" signs; right at Meriden Ave.; (Route 120). Bradley Memorial Hospital is on the left. Connecticut Center for Healthy Aging is located on Floor 1 of the hospital.

From Route 9: Exit 28 to Route 72 West. Take Corbin Ave. exit (Exit 7) and turn left. Follow the blue hospital signs (left onto Hart St., straight, then left onto Linwood St.) Up the hill, take second right onto Grand St., garage entrance on right.

From I-84: Exit 35 to Route 72 East. Take Corbin Ave. exit (Exit 7) and turn right. Follow the blue hospital signs (left onto Hart St., straight, then left onto Linwood St.)  Up the hill, take second right onto Grand St., garage entrance on right.
